The company that owns the Ambassador Bridge has lost its attempt to fence off the City of Detroit’s Riverside Park adjacent to the bridge.
Wayne County Circuit Judge Kathleen Macdonald ruled in a Feb. 3 opinion just made public that the City of Detroit was right to deny the Detroit International Bridge Co. permission to fence off the public park as a protective buffer zone for the bridge.
The case has dragged on for the past few years and created considerably controversy.
