Legislature should approve bridge plan

Port Huron Times Herald

Opinion-Letters

Politicians in Lansing should vote to support Gov. Rick Snyder’s plan for the New International Trade Crossing and give $2 billion in federal funds to build bridges and fix roads in Michigan.

This plan not only would create thousands of jobs, it also would make Michigan a more attractive place for businesses.

There is no doubt Michigan’s economy is struggling. This plan would give the state the boost it desperately needs.
